2 days of a great ice fall climbing introduction in cogne or Chamonix

OUR + :All our guides are very good teachers. They will be keen to help you progress individually during this Cogne Ice Climbing introduction course.
This Ice Climbing Week end or 2 days Course is designed to give participants a hands-on introduction to ice climbing. Building solid ice climbing skills and confident climbers is the main focus

Every Week end from 17th of December to the mid of March

On request any day from beginning of January to the end of March
Groupe size:

Maximum 4 clients, to ensure everybody’s safety.
Skills taught: Develop your skills on ice climbing :
- Ice Climbing : grade IV
- Dry-tooling climbing : grade M4,
- belaying, rope management
- learn the fundamentals of lead climbing
- Efficient use of safety equipment on this terrain, including ice screws, nuts, ice axe etc
- Evaluate Ice and Snow conditions
Price :

760€/person if you are alone,
400€/person if you are 2,
290€/person if you are 3 persons,
225€/person if you are 4 persons.

We complete the group as one goes along inquiries.

D1 :

Cremerie des Glaciers Ice fall climbing school , 70 m - Grade III+.
Meet at 9 am in Chamonix to get to know and verify the hardware. We then go right at the foot of the Argentiere glacier in Glacier Creamery. You will discover how to best use crampons and ice axes in lengths of ice between 70 ° and 75 ° to 30 m high. We also realize one ice fall 70 m. This is a great introduction to this chamonix ice fall training

D2 :

Cogne> Lillaz gully: 220m, grade 4 ice and M4 + (M = mixed climbing, ice and rock)
Meet at 7:00 in Chamonix. Today we will go on the right side of Valeille in the valley of Cogne, link up the ice fall. It will take about 1:15 to reach the foot of the Ice fall. Great varied during its ascent with a beautiful atmosphere and stunning views of Mont Blanc route. Back in Chamonix in late afternoon and end of the ice fall course
This is an example of a possible cogne or Chamonix ice fall climbing week end or 2 days.
