How do you book your internship?

Each reservation starts with an exchange with Sébastien to understand your project, validate your tier and offer you the ideal internship. Here is how the reservation is made.

Step 1

Booking request

To book your internship, find the activity you want to do on our dedicated page and fill out the reservation request form.

Step 2

Receiving confirmation

After our initial exchange, you will receive by email a detailed proposal with the program, price and practical information. If it suits you, we will send you the terms of payment of the deposit.

Step 3

Validation of the reservation

Your reservation is definitively confirmed upon receipt of your completed registration form and the payment of the 30% deposit. A confirmation email will be sent to you, including all practical details (meeting place, schedule, equipment list). A few days before the course, your guide will contact you to finalize the final details.

The different payment methods

A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required to confirm your reservation. The balance is to be paid on site on the first day of the course, directly to the guide.

Bank transfer or check

To pay your deposit by bank transfer, full contact details will be provided in your reservation form. For payment by check, it must be made payable to “Mountain Guide Adventure” and sent to the mailing address indicated in your confirmation. In both cases, please mention your name and reservation reference.

Payment of the deposit by PayPal is fast and secure. A personalized payment link will be sent to you by email after registering. This convenient option accepts major bank cards and does not require a PayPal account to be used. An additional 3% fee may apply to cover platform commissions

The balance of your course is payable directly to your guide on the first day of the activity.

Cancellation and rescheduling conditions

Here are our transparent cancellation and rescheduling conditions. We distinguish cancellations at the initiative of the customer from those of the guide.

Cancellation

- More than 30 days before departure: full refund of the deposit.
- Between 30 and 15 days before departure: the deposit is retained.
- Less than 15 days before departure: no refund of the deposit, except in cases of justified force majeure (illness, accident) with medical certificate.

If the guide has to cancel the course for safety reasons (unfavorable weather conditions, high risk of avalanche) or in case of an insufficient number of participants, we offer you as a priority:

- A rescheduling to a later date at no additional cost
- An alternative in a sector with more favourable conditions
- A full refund of the deposit paid

The guide's decision, based on safety criteria, is final and cannot be contested.

Insurance and liability policy

Your guide is covered by compulsory professional liability insurance for all of his coaching activities.

Your personal insurance : you must have individual insurance covering: 

The FFCAM license (French Federation of Alpine and Mountain Clubs) or a professional card generally include these guarantees.

Cancellation insurance recommended : We strongly advise you to take out personal cancellation insurance when you book. It protects you in case of impediment (illness, accident, family problem).
