Ice climbing school, on the crevasses of the Mer de Glace > Chamonix.
Meet at 9 am in front of Montenvers station in Chamonix. This little cog train will take us to an altitude of 1913 m, at the gateway to the Mer de Glace. After 30 minutes of descent, we will set foot on the glacier. During the day, you will discover all the techniques of ice climbing, from simple walking with crampons to climbing with 2 traction axes. Night in a cottage.
Snow school and ascent of the North Face of La Petite Verte (3512 m) > Chamonix
Direction Argentière, whose ski lifts will take us to the top of the Aiguille des Grands Montets (3297 m). We will start the day with a snow school, where we will see, among other things, how to evolve safely on this terrain, stop your fall or that of a rope companion etc... In the afternoon we will climb the North face of La Petite Verte, which offers slopes of 55° max. Night in a cottage.
Crossing the Lachenal Points (3613 m) > Laurence Ridge > Cosmic Refuge.
That day we will take the Aiguille du Midi cable car. We will first have to go down the ridge of this prestigious summit to access the Col du Midi. From there, we will approach the left end of Lachenal Points. 45° snow slopes and short mixed lengths will be on the program. To end the day, we will do the pretty and easy stop at Laurence, which ends up on the terrace of the Cosmices' refuge, where we will spend the night.
Cosmic Ridge (3800 m) > Cosmic Refuge.
After a good breakfast, it will be time to treat ourselves to this beautiful and vertiginous ridge. Climbing there is surprising, without ever being very difficult. Straddling the ridge, the view of the North Face and Chamonix, 1800 m below, will not leave you indifferent! And what about the arrival on the Aiguille du Midi terrace, cleats on your feet, under the flashes of amazed tourists. Return to the shelter for the night.
Chérè chute (3970 m) > Chamonix.
To end this discovery week in style, we will build the Chérè chute in the Tacul triangle. With its 350 m high mainly made of ice, it is already a great challenge. Short passages at 80° on ice and a nice mix will give you the opportunity to use all the techniques acquired the previous days. Return to Chamonix and summary of the course at the end of the day

Sébastien was a fantastic guide. I had a great time and learned a lot. I would definitely use him as a guide; the climbing and route choices were also excellent.
I had a great time climbing with Sébastien. I changed the stay due to the weather and was able to find dry rock in rainy weather. Throughout the stay, Sébastien not only offered me numerous climbs, but also helped me improve my skills.
A talented, pleasant and direct guide with whom we are happy to share our passion for the mountains. Thanks, Sebastian!
