Our 2-day beginner mountaineering course is designed to help you discover mountaineering
This 2-day course, an introduction to mountaineering, is aimed at people starting mountaineering but in good physical condition. During this weekend, you will learn the basic techniques of mountaineering by climbing a very nice summit: Tête Blanche (3429 m) where the panorama is particularly exceptional!

Sébastien Laurent
A mountain guide for over 25 years, Sébastien combines technical expertise and pedagogy. Trained in alpine geography and a veteran of international expeditions, he accompanies you in French, English and Spanish towards your mountain goals.
Discover the complete course of your internship day by day. Each stage is designed for your technical progress and safety in the mountains with an experienced guide.
Snow and ice school on the Tour Glacier
Head to Chamonix at 9:00am then transfer to the Tour cable car (located at the bottom of the Chamonix valley). Ascent by cable car to Col de Balme (2180m). Then climb on foot to the Albert 1st refuge (2700m) by a pleasant path to drop off personal belongings. Afternoon: snow and ice schools on the Tour Glacier. Back to the shelter. Step of 5 hours. Positive altitude difference of 520 m. Dinner and overnight at the shelter.
Ascension of Tête Blanche (3429m) or the Petit Fourche (3520m)
Breakfast at the shelter. Ascension of Tête Blanche. Exceptional panorama of the Aiguille du Tour and the Golden Needles. Return by the uphill route. Then descent into the Chamonix valley, on foot and by cable car. Return to Chamonix.
