This course is for people who have already completed major climbing routes and who wish to experience a great adventure while crossing an entire Massif, that of the Aravis. It is a concentrate of climbing that we suggest you experience here with an alpine atmosphere worthy of the most beautiful crossings in the Alps. This week will leave you with lots of memories! It will allow you to acquire a good experience of mountain climbing.
During this week we will see how:
- Climb to the top and make progress
- Climb safely
- Ensuring a second and a first of a rope
- Carry out a safe reminder
- Achieve reliable relays

Sébastien Laurent
A mountain guide for over 25 years, Sébastien combines technical expertise and pedagogy. Trained in alpine geography and a veteran of international expeditions, he accompanies you in French, English and Spanish towards your mountain goals.

Meet at La Clusaz at 9:00
Climbing school at the Rocher des Aravis to get back in shape. Contact and verification of the equipment.
Grande Voie Day at Jalouvre in the Aravis
“Missing one meter” channel (V/6a level).
Transfer by car to Les Confins from La Clusaz (7-8 mins)
Approach walk to reach the start of the route: “Le Tonneau des Danaides” 300m route in 10 lengths. Arrival at La Mamule. Abseiling. Then the route continues: “Mama Miaz” to Petite Miaz in 2 lengths. Descent on foot to reach Mont Charvet where you drop off the climbing equipment for the next day. Dinner and overnight at the Bombardellaz refuge.
Mont Charvet
Breakfast at the shelter. Then 2 hours of approach walk to join the “Snow in the Sahara” route at Mont Charvet 250m (8 lengths and edge courses). Descent to the North-East face then two 50m abseils take us to the path: “Indian Summer” of 200m which is located at the Pointe des Chombas. Descent to the Gramusset refuge. Dinner and overnight at the shelter.
Climb the 250m route “L'Ombre Chinoise”
Breakfast at the shelter. Today, we have the choice between climbing the 250m route “L'Ombre Chinoise” at the Gramusset wall at the top of which we will join the normal route of Pointe Percée or climbing the 12-length route “the very beautiful Arête du Doigt” which takes us directly to the top of the Pointe Percée. Descent by the normal route to the Col des Annes. Transfer by car to La Clusaz. End of the internship.
