For 6 days, you will do a ridge ride and you will finish the course by crossing the Meije in 3 days. This course is for people with good mountaineering experience and a very good physical condition. Meet at 9:00am at La Bérarde
Small village located in the heart of the Ecrins massif to go up to the Sorreiller refuge (2719m). If you arrive by train, the appointment can be arranged at Bourg-d'Oisans station. The afternoon will be devoted to making contact and reviewing cording techniques. Night at the Sorreiller refuge.
Way to the Aiguille Dibona (3131m).
Pleasure climbing at altitude on a rock of superb quality. Here, all levels exist on routes from 200 to 350m. Night in a lodge in the valley.
Ascent to the Promontory refuge (3092m)
From the La Grave cable car we will reach the Enfetchores then the Brêche de la Meije (3357m) to switch south to the refuge.
Crossing the Meije. (3983m) - AD+
It is the integral crossing of La Meije between the refuges of Promontory and Aigle via the Grand Pic and the Finger of God (3973m). It is a stage of 10 to 12 hours where you stay continuously in very alpine terrain. We will spend the night at the Aigle refuge (3450m) for a well-deserved rest.
Descent from the refuge
Descent from the refuge via the tormented Tabuchet glacier. End-of-course debriefing over a drink.
