Dent Blanche ascent with guide
Ascension of the Dent Blanche with guide. Mythical summit at 4357m in Swiss Valais. Technical mountaineering in high mountains for experienced climbers.

IN details

This course will allow you to climb an emblematic summit of the Alps “La Dent Blanche” culminating at 4357m. This summit is a must in any mountaineering career. It offers a beautiful ascent to the heart of one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Alps. It is aimed at people who already have a very good mountaineering experience and want to achieve a beautiful aerial edge. This large-scale race, although shorter than the Matterhorn, is considered to be technically more difficult. Very good physical condition required.
A 2nd Guide will join us on the 4th day at the Dent Blanche refuge.
During this week we will see how:
- Evolve in a tight rope
- Ensure a second and a first of chordée;
- Carry out a call back safely;
- Install effective protections in these areas (ice pins, wedges, pegs etc...)
- Create reliable relays.

I had a great time climbing with Sébastien. I changed the stay due to the weather and was able to find dry rock in rainy weather. Throughout the stay, Sébastien not only offered me numerous climbs, but also helped me improve my skills.
