2 days advanced trough course in Chamonix
The following 2-day course is for people who already practice winter mountaineering or ice climbing and who want to go further. You will go with your guide into ice channels that seemed inaccessible until then. You will deepen your technique and your guide will help you progress.
OUR + : All our Guides are very good teachers. They will be committed to helping you progress individually during this week of cable entry training in Chamonix.

During this week, we will see how to improve in cable channels:
- Evolve in snow, ice and mixed, in gullies of up to 80° maximum;
- Ensure a second and a first of chordée;
- Carry out a call back safely;
- Install effective protections in these areas (ice pins, wedges, pegs etc...)
- Create reliable relays.

Sébastien Laurent
A mountain guide for over 25 years, Sébastien combines technical expertise and pedagogy. Trained in alpine geography and a veteran of international expeditions, he accompanies you in French, English and Spanish towards your mountain goals.

Pellissier chute
Rating: TD-: Ice: IV/Mixed: M5+/Height difference: 290 m. Meet the guide at 8:45am in Chamonix. Then go up to the Aiguille du Midi by cable car. Ascension of the magnificent Pellicier chute. Two nice lengths of ice followed by mixed activities and very interesting climbing. We will have dinner and spend the night at the Cosmices' refuge.
Cosmic Chute
Rating: TD: Ice: V/Mixed: M5+/Height difference: 200m. Breakfast at the shelter. Then ascent to the magnificent Cosmic Chute. Return to Chamonix.
