Glacier Ice Cream Waterfall, 70 m - Grade III+.
Meet at 9 am in Chamonix to get to know each other and check the equipment. We will then go just to the foot of the Argentière glacier at the Cremerie des Glaciers. You will discover how to best use crampons and ice axes in lengths of ice between 70° and 75° that are 30 m high. We will also make 1 ice waterfall of 70 m.
EMHM ice fall, 110 m - Grade IV.
The gorges offer a large choice of waterfalls in a magical setting. You will thus often start the lengths a few meters from the clear and powerful water of the Arveyron. The ice here is very sculpted and you will often have to climb just by putting your ice axes in holes, this is the technique called “crochet”. You can launch yourself second in 90° grade V stunts, to test your strengths.

Mini Courier ice fall, 60 m and Déferlante ice fall, 40 m, Grades IV.
Two pretty IV ice waterfalls will be on the program of this internship day. They are again located on the left bank of the Argentière glacier, with a trough atmosphere for Mini Couleuri. Each offers many climbing options, so we can do them several times, especially using dry-tooling* lines.
Troulèro Icefall 190 m — Grade IV+
For this last day of the internship, we will go to the Black Water Valley in Switzerland, 2 km from the border. The waterfall is cool in a deep gorge where everything is nothing but ice. We will have to climb 4 long lengths with numerous but short 90° passages, all in a magnificent atmosphere. Return to Chamonix and review of this ice climbing course at the end of the day.
