This climbing course takes place between Vercors and Diois.
The following course is an itinerant course allowing you to discover the most beautiful climbing spots in Drôme. It is intended for beginners as well as for people with a minimum level of 6a in mind. It takes place in Omblèze, a magnificent small village located in the Vercors, where you will climb on very beautiful red limestone, and in 2 sites in Drôme Provençale: SAOU and Luc en Diois. You will appreciate the beauty of these 3 spots and the Provençal villages as well as the mild climate. Internship oriented to Rennes and main routes.
During this week we will learn how to:
- Ensuring a second and a first of cordée,
- Carry out a safe reminder,
- Place effective protections in the lengths (wedges, pegs, straps).
- Create reliable relays,
- Climb to the top in lengths of levels 5a to 5c..

Climbing school in Omblèze
Meet at 10:00am in Omblèze. Climbing school day in the Gorges or on the Ansage cliff. A short walk at the end of the day to discover La Grande Pissoire, a magnificent waterfall. Dinner and night in a cottage at the Moulin de la Pipe in Omblèze.
Great climbing route in Omblèze
Long route day on the magnificent Ansage cliff where you will discover a very pleasant red limestone. Choose between “Jojo the Builder” (5c-6a) or “The tireless Zoé” (6a-6b). Night in a cottage in Omblèze at the Moulin de la Pipe.
Great climbing route in Saôu
Transfer by car to Saou (40 minutes). Main road day in Saoû. You will be seduced by this beautiful stone village with a Provençal atmosphere. Night in a cottage in Saoû or near Saoû.
Climbing school in Saôu
Row day in Saôu: several very beautiful sectors. A short walk at the end of the day in the magnificent Saôu forest, classified as a Nature Reserve. Night at the cottage in Saôu.
Grande voie à Luc en Diois
Transfer by car to Luc-en-Diois, a very beautiful climbing site also located in the Drôme Provençale. Main road day in Luc-en-Diois. End of the climbing course between Vercors and Diois.
